I have a client that runs a lot of data on a Microsoft Access database and needs to push this data to FileMaker Server. We have set up the DSN and Access can read the files on the FileMaker Server. However, it cannot edit fields or create new records. We are using a [Full Access] account, so permission are not a problem. I was wondering if the FM ODBC driver is read only for Access or if I didn't know how to properly configure it. I've only worked with MS SQL Server and Oracle in the past and this wasn't a problem. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.
Oh, I figured it out. You can't just add them or change them in the Access table view. You have to run a SQL Insert. Apparently I have limited Access skills, but will learn some more. Wish it was all in FileMaker. C'est le vie! But thanks for any other suggestions.
