In FileMaker>Sharing>Instant Web Publishing...

I get this error message:

“FileMaker Pro cannot start Instant Web Publishing because FileMaker Server or another instance of FileMaker Pro is running on this machine.”

Likewise, in FileMaker>Sharing>FileMaker Network... I get: “FileMaker cannot share files because another user is already sharing files using FileMaker Pro on this computer.”

This is in FMPA 11.0v4

Mac OS 10.8.4

This is a new problem. I have successfully developed and tested IWP solutions on this machine in the past.

Remedies I already tried (and I restarted the computer after each of these):

1. I reinstalled both FMPA-11 and FMPA-12 on this machine. When reinstalling FMPA-12 I chose NOT to install web publishing.

This did not fix it.

2. I double-checked my precesses to make sure FM Server is not running on my machine (even though I’m pretty sure I never installed it in the first place.) FM Server is not running.

3. I deleted the file web.prefs from FileMaker/Extensions/Web Support/.

This did not fix it.

4. In Mac Sys Prefs>Security>Firewall>Firewall Options I deleted all the individual application firewall settings (ie, iTunes, Skype, Dropbox, along with FileMaker Pro Advanced.)

This did not fix it.

I really need to get this working again so I can continue development!

Thanks for any suggestions.
