FMSA 11 lost connection from master box to worker box

This morning, our FMSA11 server was displaying a connection error in the Admin console, although it had been working in the hours before. My Server Admin went into fix, ad the next thing I knew, I had no Filemaker server at all.


He know has the Admin console running again, but we get an error when we try and add the IP of the worker box: "error encountered while doing lookup." The Server admin says he has no idea what to do next, and is blaming it on the University Firewall. But nothing else is broken, and the University would not have changed anything at 9AM on a Thursday morning.


So, I'm not sure what to do as a next troubleshooting step.
