One possible method which I've not actually implemented myself....
get a list of all the ModifiedBy Values from the related table
List( "A::MobifiedBy" ; "B::MobifiedBy" ; "C::MobifiedBy" )
and a list of the ModifiedTS values
List( "A::MobifiedTS" ; "B::MobifiedTS" ; "C::MobifiedTS" )
Work out which position in the list the maximum timestamp occupies (there are a number of custom functions that can do this)
Use getvalue() to extract that item from the list of account names
Food for thought perhaps.
That's the route I'm taking right now. Thanks for the suggestion.
You're welcome. I originally did this in FileMaker 6 when it was definitely harder to implement. I haven't really used it in FP7 or FMP12 as I tend to log significant changes to records and their children.
Shame I can't type modified correctly
