Pricing and Availability
All FileMaker 13 Platform software is available immediately. Monthly prices start at US$9 for FileMaker Pro; US$15 for FileMaker Pro Advanced, and US$29 for FileMaker Server under the FileMaker Annual Volume License Agreement, which is billed annually (minimum quantities apply).
Traditional software licenses are also available starting at US$329 for new FileMaker Pro 13 licenses and US$179 for FileMaker Pro 13 upgrades.
The FileMaker Go for iPad and iPhone App is free from the iTunes App Store™. Server concurrent connections for FileMaker Go or FileMaker WebDirect are priced at US$25 per 5-pack per month, and are available from FileMaker and software resellers.
I wonder what they are doing about upgrades? I can find annual and volume licensing, but what happens to a client who has 10 licensed copies of FMP and 1 FMS Advanced in v12?
Good question. Reading between the lines it looks like the server license is purely subscription based, and it scales with number of FMP clients licenses and webDirect concurrent connections. But that is just an idea.
Currently, according to the FMP website: "If you purchased FileMaker Pro 12, FileMaker Pro 12 Advanced, FileMaker Server 12 or FileMaker Server 12 Advanced between November 3, 2013 and December 17, 2013, you may be eligible to receive the corresponding upgrade version at no charge!
What they said previously: There are only 2 DAYS LEFT to Future Proof your FileMaker software — and set it up to receive all updates and upgrades published during the coming year at no additional charge. After this promotion expires, upgrades will not be available for customers with FileMaker versions 7, 8 or 9. Maintenance will not be included in upgrades from v10-v11. This is your best opportunity to save on upgrades."
We were purchasing FM12 and upgrading to FM12 up until late October because we were told the deadline to qualify for upgrades to the next release was coming soon. I hope they honor their previous statements to my clients, because was made a few mad dashes to order or upgrade within their stated date.
Some of my clients are using IWP with 45 simultaneous peak users, others have 10. It's going to be interesting to see if upgrades are treated the same way.
45 simultaneous is $9K for Volume Lic. That's quite a jump from $3K.
10 simultanous is $3K, so not as big a deal.
This just in from Jaé:

For myself, I'm tooling around the "trial" now. Whoopfreakineee!
Thanks, David. This sounds more promising that what they had on their website.
The server license is not purely subscription based.
Server + 5 connections: $1,944
Server + 10 connections: $2,844
Server + 15 c.: $3,744
Server + 20 c.: $4,644
Server + 25 c.: $5,544
etc.. to 50 c.: $10,044
It seems FMSA is discontinued though, and it's just all a single version of server now.
FileMaker Go 12 has apparently been removed from the iTunes App store.
What's the pricing on FileMaker Server with unlimited connections? It was mentioned in the video.
They changed the model, you now need to purchase the number of concurrent connections to FMS from FileMaker Go and Web Connections. :|
concurrent connections only apply to webdirect and FMGo connecting to the server.
The regular filemaker server license supports unlimited connections of the filemaker pro desktop program (and FMPA).
That's what I thought it was? Else why would they sell a filemaker server license with no concurrent connections?
FYI, if you buy the TechNet Developer version of FM Server 13, it comes with one connection, for testing purposes

Can we just install the preview 13s we got from the preview meeting, and use our license keys with thos, or is there a mortgage current version?
The server license comes with 1 concurrent license for testing, etc.
