G'day FMI-13ians

Using a single iMac (Mac OS X 10.8.5) with FMS13 and FMPA13 installed.

(a) when at least 1 database is "Open" in the Server Admin Console, using FMPA13 the Open Remote... command correctly lists the FMS13 iMac and displays the open databases (see attached screenshot).

(b) when 0 databases are "Open" in the Server Admin Console, using FMPA13 the Open Remote... command does NOT list the FMS13 iMac (see attached screenshot).

Did FMS12/FMSA12 and earlier versions behave the same way?

I thought the earlier server versions showed the server under Local Hosts, even if there were 0 databases open on the server.

Not a big issue, just wondering.
