If you are on Windows and trying to upload using FMPA on the same server machine then don't bother... just copy the file over to the right folder.
The upload is nice on OSX because it sets the permissions correctly but on Windows there are no such issues.
Thank you, I didn't know you could just copy the files in. That will be easier.
But for referance I wasn't on the same machine. I was on OSX 10.9 on FMPA13 trying to connect to a FMS13 running on the Windows 2012 Server.
Got it working now
Endded up reinstalling FMS13. I think it may of been because I installed it on local administrator on the windows server then joined the server to the domain and login on another account. I think it meant the IIS wasn't working right.
I am running FMS13 on a Windows 2008 R2 SP1 machine. I have FMPAdvanced on a Windows 7 box. I am unable to upload a file to the server - it keeps stating the username/password are incorrect. I have triple checked this and still am unable to.
I'm sorry for my poor English. ( I'm Japanese..)
Maybe it caused by IIS setting. I tryed to setup IIS paramaters same as another windows server that can upload databases from client.
But It dosen't work, FMS seems to use some files created on it's installation.
Installing FMS13 also has IIS setup prpcess, but in my case it dosen't work correctly...
Finally I reinstall FMS13, then the problem has resolved.
To upload files to FMS13 from FMP, they need 443 port. And port 443 is managed by IIS on Windows with FMWebsite ( you can see it on IIS Manager )
Remote Container also use port 443 to upload binary files. So, if you fail to upload some data on Remote Container field to hosted files, port 443 dosen't work correctly.
In my case, By reinstalling FMS13, both problem have resolved.
