I attached a screen shot to show the uppper side area about (10cm * 2cm), gray out, and I even tried to use a command "refresh" to try to
get the screen back, but it failed.
Anyone has the similar situaiton?
Make sure no objects in your header overlap into the body section.
Not sure if the kanji needs to be anchored to the right side for it to stretch the header background gradient across.
Try replacing the heard BG gradient with a native gradient if you can (if it is not already).
You might also want to remove the background image from your body object, it repeats in list view.
followed your suggestions, and the problem is still. Finally, now I can repeat the issue.
#1. In one of browser mode, just use the camera to take a photo into a container.
#2. there is a button to go list view, once you switch to the list view, then you see " 70% of title grayout".
I tested the Filemaker Pro template , contact.FMP12 as well. It's the same issue.
Here is the file I attached.
somehow I killed Filemaker Go 13, then restart it. Now I can't repeat the same issue as I described above.
I am 100% sure that before I could repeat the issue every time. I'll test more to ensure this situation.
Hi Steven, your sample file doesn't have the same layout you posted the screenshot on.
I still consider it a layout problem from the sound of it. Try rebuilding the layout using FM13 and one of the new themes. See if that corrects your issue.
I would also disable any window resizing script steps when you go to the layout to see if those cause your issues.
Steven, I had the same problem. The only solution I had was to restart the iPad. FMGO 12 and 13 does some very quirky things if the iPad is never restarted. If you never restart the iPad, you will probably also have trouble with PDF creation at some point in time.
Yes, I observed the same ,and I fixed it by (kill FM Go & restart it again). this fixed my issue.
There is now an update to Fm Go that addresses graphical issues. Hopefully this issue was corrected.
the update you mentioned fixed the issue i experienced with generic charts not refreshing - now they do - which is great!
the issue I observed it still happened in FM GO v13.02. , and with the same fix I had to kill FM Go and restart it.
Further observation, the available RAM get low it can happen much much often. Steven
This issue has been reported to FileMaker. Somebody reported on the fm forum that if you rotate your screen and then rotate back the box will go away. On a side note, how do you determine how much ram is available on an iPad? I'm convinced that a majority of problems with FmGo are because of the lack of ram on the iPad.
Hi , I was trying to find a clue why I could repeat the issue (almost 100%), then I observed when avail RAM going down to ~16MB....then i becomes almost repeatable.
I used like isystem to check RAM status. By the way, it's good workaround by rotating the screen. Thanks
