They have always been very good in the past - I have looked at a client remotely running on FMS12 and when I open with FM13 I also see nothing where Reactor should display. I haven't tried to trace the issue yet - I have written to Robert Sinton at Digital Fusion and asked for his advice.
Hi - sorry, I'd like to second Nick's statement that the Fusion staff have been very helpful and good in the past - I hope that my post is not misconstrued in any way to sound like the opposite.
I was just wondering if they were still operational, given that there hasn't been any activity over the past few years in terms of updates or news on their site.
My experience, btw, has been that a solution running on an FMS13 opens fine with an FM12 client but not an FM13 client, so the issue seems to lie more on the client side. For now I'll let my (one) customer who uses the plugin continue on 12 for that specific layout...
Depending on what broke, and digFus's thoughts on investing dev time to keep the demos alive (huge yea vote from me !!), u may be able to repair some of the widgets without too much nightmare. They make use of their helper functions like setfield quite a bit. The same goal can be accomplished by triggering a script which has a setfield step in it. Things like this would be an easy fix song as the "right things" got broken and what is left provides the tools needed to build a hack.
This was/is a great product. It won solution of the year when it was released. Shame that more people didn't adopt using it. It's never too late ... Especially if they fix the demos;)
Thanks reelsteve! My problem was with a simple GanttChart Pro Blackbox - upon loading the debugger came with a message saying that the referenced fields could not be found. The same problem is replicated in the demo file Reactor Core.fp7 (converted to .fp12) under the Resources example in FM13.
Throw it in a web viewer , and call getLayoutObjectAttribute(webviewer name; "content") and see if u can get it to return the source code. It gives it to you when the widgets are visible. Depending on the point at which the widget is breaking, the source code may not be loaded. If u r in luck and it returns the code, go thru and pick out fusion functions being used and then try them one at a time on something simple so u can pin down the culprits. In the immortal words of Maximus , "strength and honor"!

The guys over at Digital Fusion are updating their plugin to work with 13, I contacted them on 13's release day and received a short 'yes, soon' email back, but they have also mentioned it here:
In fact one thing to note is that because of changes to the SQL in FileMaker we're releasing an update to our Reactor plugin (that does Calendars, Gantt charts etc) in the next few days—so keep an eye on that over at Fusion Plugins
That sounds promising, thanks! I'll keep a keen eye out for the update in that case.
