    Restart apache FMS 13

I'm trying to restart the apache server on my Mac 10.8. After installing FMS 13 I need to make some changes to have my developer computer up and running again and it feels a bit annoying that I have to restart my computer when all I whant to do is a simple apace restart.

I have figured out how to stop it, but when I'm tryning to start it only gives me a error 1. If I try in debug mode it just stops after including php module, no usefull errror message.

      Help annyone?

have you started it with the Terminal?

          sudo apachectl graceful

should give you some more verbose info if it errors.

Well, if it were that easy there would not be a problem. Your comand starts apache whith mac normal config. FM 13 dosent work with that. It uses its own httpd.conf. If you look in the launchdemon there is one line "/Library/FileMaker Server/HTTPServer/bin/httpdctl" which runs "

            /usr/sbin/httpd -k start -D FILEMAKER -f "/Library/FileMaker Server/HTTPServer/conf/httpd.conf"".

If someone know how to run the first command as fmserver (I guess is the problem) I think my problem will be solved.

Ah, in the past, the filemaker installer added a line to the default apache config to include that. So you are trying to switch the user "fmserver" in order to run that command? Have you tried

              sudo su - fmserver

I don't have FMS 13 installed on OS X just yet, so trying to help.
