I want to learn more about editing fm13 designs or develop my own. I've searched everywhere without success.
Is there a guide or tutorials or another source to learn?
Since the official Filemaker 13 Training Series has not been released yet, and developers have only had a few weeks with their hands on 13, there is not a lot of content out there yet.
If this means revising themes, the guides will get you started. I'm sure you'll see others posting tips & tricks on custom themes in the near future.

I meant MORE postings on custom themes in the near future. As co-author of Theme Creator I & II (when themes were quite different!), I have vested interest in 'themes'. But since the typical FMDTP ( FM developer-type-person) does not give a hoot about CSS & all that, the Inspector has some gems that should be explored.
Yeah, agree. Pixi has a very nice tool put into the communities' Advent Calendar; and he is a hard core developer, off course
But, for the rest and interested newbies, the idea to start with your "design" from choosing a similar theme from the FileMaker layout themes. Then put the typical elements on the layout.
See what happens in the inspector when aspects of different elements of the theme are changed.
The key to your own theme is to look out for the red stars, indicating a deviation from the current theme and leaving you with the opportunity to create a new style/theme or replacing this behavior in the choosen FileMaker theme for this very file. Check out what happens if you choose to change the standrad text display as beeing highlighted (this uggly yellow ribbon thru the text) and safe that as a change to the current theme – on all layouts, based on the same theme, standdard text will then be yellowed out...
I would suggest you create your "design" this way, by creating your own themes and styles. (well, off course not with highlighting, but with using those colurs, fonts, sizes paddings, fillings, shadows and what the hack.)
Thanks Pixi, I will check it out
thanks for your advice - that´s the way I´m doing it at the moment, but I want to get more control.
For example: Perhaps I have overlooked something, bit I haven´t found a possibility to change the look (shape) of tabs ...
