Just wondering if anybody knows how to do this:
I have created an iOS configuration profile for a FileMaker Go database using the 'App Maker' file and it works fine when emailing or hosting on a web server.
However, I would like to be able to store the configuration profile file in a container field (or in a text field - as Base64 encoded?) in the database it will create a home screen shortcut for and then somehow, probably using the web viewer run a script that 'opens' that profile file and installs it on the device, therefor not requiring the use of email or an internet connection.
Any ideas? Thanks,
Due to the "Sandbox" architecture in iOS, every apps is very limited in how they can save and execute files.
To my knowledge, what you want to do, is not possibly. (though it would be desired)
As far as I know, you can only download and install configuration profiles via email or via website.
