-Promote/Demote account privileges.
-Flag/report where there is a mismatch in accounts across multiple files (IE user exists in File A, but is missing from File B).
-Same flag/report for privilege set mismatches (IE userprivsetA does not exist in File B)
That's what I could think of immediately. Sounds like a useful module!
Thanks for chiming in.
1. What do mean by Promote/Demote account privileges? And why would this be valuable in the Account module?
2. The module makes some assumptions here. For example if the ResetPassword or AccountStastus function is called, it will silently create an account that is missing. Also, there is file specific error messaging in the dialogs (that can be turned off)
3. Privilege sets are validated before an attempt is made to Create, ResetPassword, or StatusChange

I meant it would be highly useful to be able to change the privilege set assigned to an existing account. IE if you had a read only user that now needs to enter data.
I think that privilege set assignment is limited to the "add account" script step though, so you would need to have some sort of user input, or reset the password completely, to be able to delete the account and re-add it with the designated "update" privilege set.
FileMaker does have the masked field input option now in "Show custom dialog", so it could prompt for a password on-runtime.
I just dug up this convo by accident. Letting you know the current version of Accounts allows user to change the privilege set. Your feature request made it in to version 2.0.

Awesome. I've regularly recommended this module to people that want to script anything related to accounts. It's chock full of useful code.
cool. BTW, just updated the links at mFM to allow download direct from GitHub
