Portal within Portal on Popup Button

    lkeyes

I've got a customer record with invoices displayed in a portal.

I'd like to be able to press a button on a line item within the portal ot see a list of the items that comprised the invoice (sku, price, description).

I thought I might be able to do this using a popup button, but if I attempt to create a items portal on the popup button when it is placed within the invoice portal, it doesn't allow me to place the portal on the popup panel.

I can place it on the pop-up panel, as long as the button isn't within the invoice portal, but I then if I move the button into the invoice portal then it doesn't appear on each record of the portal....only at the top.

So, could I do this with a ExecuteSQL query which displays within a field placed on the popup, the resuls of the query?

      Ideas appreciated...

There is no portal within a portal.  You can solve this a few ways.  Use a repeating field and make a fake portal.  You can use SQL or something similar to do this.  Or you can create a portal on a slider and get the primary id and put it into a global and show the second portal related to this.  I did this with a slider so that is looks like a popover.

So when you press the button it opens the slider and set the primary key of the customer and then show the invoices in this second portal
