Something very strange is going on in FMP13. I'm running this on Windows 7. I have a layout that has 2 portals in it. I have a field in the 1st portal which is a button that runs a script - no problem. I have a second portal with a field in it that I'm trying to have it be a button (see 1st screen print).
All appears to go well, but there is no button active on that field in that portal and the "hand" does not appear (See 2nd screen print). The Debugger never shows that a script was called. When I open the same file in FMP12, no problem. The button in the 2nd portal works fine. I don't know if this has anything to do with a 2nd portal, but at this point I don't have a clue why this isn't working in FMP13.
Sorry. Never mind - this was my fault. I forgot that I had 4 portals on top of each other and used the Hide Object feature in FMP13. So FMP12 showed the top portal, whereas the displayed portal in FMP13 was the bottom portal - where there was no button. Duhh!!!
