I've got numerous list layouts that perform normally in FM 13 application but when viewed through a browser in WebDirect the verical scroll bar is missing. Tested with Chrome, Safari, IE, pcs & macs. Is this a bug?
This is a known bug with Web Direct
There was not update on this as of 11/13/2014.
This is a pretty big deal as you need to get users doing some pretty kludgy things to get basic functionality. I am sure this would have been noticed in the testing and shipped regardless.
Hope this gets addressed soon.
I think I read somewhere you can use the down and up arrow key to scroll record by record. Not useable in my mind.
In IE if I scroll over to the right using the horizontal scroll bar, the vertical scroll bar shows. Not expected behviour for most users.
I've tried adding navigation buttons in the list view to get the list to jump up or down by 10 records etc. as another option.
Scrolling Right on Chrome also displays the vertical scroll bar. I never noticed this because the wheel on my mouse scrolls in all browsers.
My clients are reporting different behaviours with the scroll wheel (works for some, not others) so that's why they are hunting for the scroll bar.
It seems normal browser behaviour, since the scroll bar is attached to body part.

If the browser window is narrow, the scroll bar will be hidden.
There need to update vaadin feature that have something like floating scroll bar implement.
I don't know whether it is already implemented, but making it is outside of FMI, and seems not yet since not using it.
