May be regenerated bug. % and + is encoded as %nn before send.
Look for unusual characters and convert them to URL safe characters such as the ampersand to & and it might work. Not sure if it will solve your problem, but give it a try. I ran into that issue with quotes in a URL earlier this week and had to convert double quotes to "
Escape using &.., is for HTML, not URL.
URL is escaped with %nn (and some time space to + instead of %20)
URL written in HTML need to be escaped using & etc., but this is in "insert from URL" so not the case.
actually the ampersand is not the problem, it is the %7C...which is the pipe character. I replace d the %7C (used for years) with the “|” and all is back to normal. Actually make it easier to read the URL without all the %7C for markers and other parameters.
You are lucky if your URL works for the script step.
There is a bug on FM12 (needless decoding) reported
and now we found on FM13(needless encoding).
Probably you can not use '&' character in title at the URL.
it was NOT the &, but the % in the URL... Google API examples, use %7C for separating some parameters and locations. And it worked fine with 12 & GO 12.
However, since %7C is the pipe character “ | “, using that works fine as FM13 re-encodes on the way out. Of course, pasting any of the URLs into a browser works fine too as they are properly encoded.
I’d be glad to share some examples of before and after.
Sorry I was confused googlemap with googlechart I was using another place, I wrote
"Probably you can not use '&' character in title at the URL."
but there isn't "title" in the URL, that is "label".
I mean that
writing '&' in URL as a parameter, it is sent as is by FM13
then server get it as separator.
writing it as %26 (valid encoded URL), it is sent with re-encoded by FM13
then server get it as %2626. (and the decoded data is %26, not '&')
You have '+' in the URL, need to be ' ' if used in FM13.
(Or google map don't mind it is space or plus-sign ?)
