Graceful way to handle server disconnects on local files?

      Hey everyone,

I'm working on a system that uses the separation model with hosted files, and distributes local interface files to my users. If the server disconnects a file, it gives the standard disconnect error, but then gives a bunch of ugly <FIle Missing> references. Of course they need to close the local file and relaunch, but I'm hoping there's a way for me to detect that the disconnect has happened and close the local file. Is this possible? If you've implemented a simlar system (local interface, remote data), how have you handled this? Thanks.
