You have to set the ownership on the drive. Select it, Commnad-I, and change the settings there. Don't remember what they need to be but that should help. Check TechNet.

Well it turned out to that and a bit more. Ended up renaming the drive to remove the spaces in the name and having to set permissions for the drive and sub-directories so that user fmserver had read write access to everything. Your suggestion got us there.
