Hello, does anyone know any other way to get a FileMaker Go file OFF an iPad without using iTunes, or email (Go file is too large to email).
iExplorer allows you to grab it, but it still requires tethering, in which case why not just use iTunes which is free. I don't recall if the iExplorer iOS app allowed access to the FM folder, but it seems to not be available in the app store anymore anyways.
iTunes also has wifi sync now, which makes it's use a little more tolerable.
It's a shame it's too big to email, the Save a Copy as script step is super useful for sending files back up.
Use DiskAid. It is free, works over wifi and is much better than iTunes. Do a google search for DiskAid.
I'm trying out DiskAid (on Mac) but don't really see where I can access the FileMaker Go files.
Accomplishing this is one of the pitches that Richard Carlton is making for his Video Training Series:

Please let us know if that's the answer . . .
Click on the apps and then select Filemaker Go. The files are stored in the documents folder.
Thanks for the plug. Yes, we wired up a excellant demo of this... using new functions available in Pro and GO 13. Plus for this video demo... we peovided the actual download sample files... for the people who get the training course.
There is really no built in provision for this capability... and I have been asking FMI for this since 2010. So it has to be coded. In an ideal world ...there would also be support for DropBox... but it seems that since Apple tried to buy DropBox... and DropBox told Steve Jobs to "stick it"... that Apple has become decidedly anti-DropBox.
Just the politics of the world we live in.
