System requirement is 4GB/min 8GB/recomended, so using about 4GB is not so large.
Java process is running as jwpc, it has command line option -Xms2G -Xmx2048M.
I don't think resizing the option is worth to try.
RAM is Cheap
Can you explain a bit more wha the load on your server is? How many files, how many users, just FMP or FM Go and WebDirect and xDBC access and CWP?
Specs on the machine: processors & cores, hard disks?
Also what is becoming slower? And what do the FMS live stats and the stats log say?
37 files, local test bed mirrored directly from production. Windows Server 2008 Ent. 8gb ram, 4-core 2.8ghz proc. 2 HDD(Samsung 500gb SSD) in raid 0. The services the machine hosts are FM Server 13(37 files) + IIS 7 hosting 1 site to run php queries against the DB's and output updated XML.
The issue is, accessing the machine and doing anything at all on it is fine, until you start FM Server. Once the Java process kicks off, even with nearly 3gb of ram available, doing anything on the machine is incredibly slow. FMPA can take upwards of 2 mins to load.
