won't display field appearance in list view

New to the forum.....


I have uodate to Filemaker Pro 13 and have installed the latest patch v2. When I used version 12, I created a report that had a few fields where the background was filled with the color yellow and the box was outlined, When I ran the report in eithier in list view or preview, I saw that the appearence was applied to all records showen. In version 13, that reports looks fine, but when I create a new report, only the selected field show the appearence in list view, and no appearence is applied in preview. Is there a new setting in v13, that allows you to apply appreance to all records display in list view and preview?
