Thank you for answering, but not in this case. This is a large text block of multiple paragraphs, so the option for "button setup" doesn't appear.
It's like this:
In this situation, highlighting the <<referencedfield1>> text (or any of the other <<referencedfield(s)>> ) there is no option for "button setup."
Now, you may ask, "What's the point?"
The page being printed (we've been using this setup for years) is a very nicely laid-out printout of many itme descriptions - all of which are of different lengths; so one can't just place the fields on the layout and expect the printout to look very good...or am I missing something due to habit?
A button is assigned to an object; consequently, you have select a Merge object, not individual text within it, to be able to make it a button.
Precisely. So you need to split your paragraphs into individual objects for this to work.
You can use sliding if positioning becomes a problem.
