That is a huge help. Don't like having to mess with the registry though.
Definitely with you on that one, make sure to backup your registry before tweaking it at all. That article mentions it might just be easier to setup from scratch than mess with keys.
You might just want to create your own .txt document with some of your most used settings that you use. That might make it a little more palatable to deal with reinstall issues.
This link is only valid up through V10.
V11-13 have other preference settings.
But the location of the settings is the same. Windows registry, mac osx preferences, etcetera etcetera. I couldn’t find an up to date version of that article before I posted it.
Well, Mike. I'd go with that 'xplain. Except I have v9-12 on my Mac (yep it's OOOOLLLDD). V thru 10 is where the kb says. Not so for 11-12 (too old for 13).
