I am starting work on a new runtime solution. Been a while since I played with runtimes as I always had a copy of filemaker installed for my projects. This project will be a standalone product so I will be compiling it into a runtime using Filemaker 13. Last time I played with creating a runtime solution was with Filemaker 9, and did not do much with it back then. So I am re-learning all the details.
After reading through the documentation, I am confused as to the definition of a Bound file.
Does a bound file mean a database with the runtime extension but arbitrary name? or does it mean that the file name must be listed at the time the runtime is compiled?
When you create the runtime, ALL related files must be selected and listed. They will be bound together with the key you provide and they will all get the extension you choose.
