Does anyone know why aren't photographs taken directly in FileMaker Go 13 are missing the GPS coordinate information in the metadata?
Check your settings: is FMGo allowed to use location services?
You might want to check out this Knowledge Base article:
There are some limitations when the photo is taken directly from within the FileMaker Go app.

That’s fairly decisive. Fortunately you are able to work around this. Lat/Lon details can be obtained using built-in functions in FM Go. Include fields to store the geolocation data and update them when the container field is used.
Yeah...wow! Thanks for the Heads-up!

Thanks. That was the first thing I checked. I did have Location Services on for FileMaker Go.
Thank you for sharing this Knowledge Base link. It certainly helps and answers my concern. I appreciate your help.
I made add this in and compare the GPS from the iOS photo and what FileMaker Go provides to see if there are any differences. I know when I tried capture GPS with the FileMaker Go functions it seemed slow.
Thanks for your help,
GPS by its nature has a tradeoff between time and accuracy. GPS units that get sub-meter accuracy routinely take 20 minutes to get a fix! You can trade time for accuracy by setting the timeout parameter for the Location or LocationValues function. If you don't set the timeout, it defaults to 60 seconds, which may be why it seems slow.
