Go relies on the device's camera or existing Photo Camera Roll contents, as there is no file system accessible in iOS.
- Is your Camera Roll empty?
- Do you not get any options for input into the container field when you click into the field itself?
- Are you scripting the file selection via a script or button, because that won't work in Go as it does in Pro. You need to actually enter the container field to get your options.
Thanks for your comments Stephen
The camera roll is not empty.
When I tap into the continer field I get an option to 'paste'. If I have an image there the options are cut, copy, paste, delete.
I had scripted it in Pro, from what you say that doesn't work in Go. So how do I enter the container field to get the options?
Whether or not your script works in Go depends on what you scripted. Go doesn't support the same Insert command for images with a file selection dialog like Pro does.
Does your layout let you simply click directly into the field without executing a script, and, if so, is the Paste option your only choice when the field is empty? If your only way to get to the field is via scripting, try adding a new object of that field which lets you click direclty on it, and see if you have other options.
Have you given FM Go permission to access the iPad's photos?
The question would have come up the first time Go tried to access the Photos. If access was denied, you can go into Settings > Privacy > Photos and turn it on for FM Go.
Sorry I've been slow in replying Shawn. You hit the nail on the head. It was thr Settings/Privacy issue that was stopping things.
Thanks for your help.
