Can a Base64encoded .jpg image be written to a mySQL table using ESS?

Hi Folks,


For our revised web siste, we're using ESS to write all product data to a series of tables in a mySQL database.


All text amd numeric data is migrating perfectly but so far .jpg images converted by the Base64encode function are not being accepted.


I'm using Sequel Pro, as well as the ESS shadow tables, to view the in the several tables of the mySQL database. If I copy the Base64 encoded data from the Data Viewer then I can paste that data into the required field.


Many of the images are 480 x 480 pixels resulting in up to 85K characters for the encoded string.


I'm wondering if the script needs to be paused somehow to allow for the large chunk of data to be transferred.


I'm running the script under OS X 10.9.3 on a MacPro 4,1 with FMPA 13.0.3. The file is being served from a similar MacPro using FMS 13.0.2.


The ActualTechnologies driver is version 3.2.3
