You could theoretically do this using the SmartPill plugin for filemaker server, then having the ipad use the "perform script on server" script step to upload the video from the server. There are probably other plugins (IE scriptmaster using java, PyFileMaker for python), but you'll still most likely have to write executable code that will upload a video from a string path of the file on the server.
Here's a demo of the python way to upload a video to youtube:
There is no way I can think of to do it from the ipad directly from inside filemaker go, although you can do it natively in iOS from the camera roll to youtube.
Somehow , i figured out through surfing the internet that ScriptMaster with java or python can be a help .
But still i have not tried it as of now .
I shall try it now and the other plugin SmartPill and revert back to you.
Thanks ,once again....
At this point it’s whatever code language you are familiar with. Scriptmaster is free, so that’s a plug for Java. Pyfilemaker is free as well, but hasn’t been updated since 5/2008.
Thanks for quick feedback !
I am trying SmartPill now . Let me see what happens .
I have used PHP scripting to solve this problem.
Cool, feel free to share your work with the community. Also if you used smartpill, share your work with Micah Woods, as the plugin developer he's always looking for good examples of what smartpill is being used for.
