fileMaker doesn't mind if you use the same account to login from lots of
different devices. You'll have to keep track of user logins in a table
and use that information to decide whether someone is currently logged
in or not. It isn't an exact science because a user may be idle for some
time or get disconnected without warning.
If you want to prevent account 'A' from remote login, remove extend privilege [fmapp] from A's privilege set.
After some coding and additional table and fields I was able to set this up. Works like a charm Just will need to revise scripting to make it more elegant in future.
