I have tried to make a copy of my free download for home but it tells me a file is missing, MSVCR110.dll. Am I missing a step when I copy it?
Are you trying to copy the .exe file, or are you trying to copy the actual folder of the installed files or the temp directory the installer creates? You should always try to start with the .exe installer file.
Also, not going to speculate, but I don't think the license covers installation on two computers at the same time.
It does. 2 Computers, it gives an example in the license of a work computer and a personal laptop. Not to be used at the same time.

Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure if it was "don't ask don't tell" or not.
Of course if your company OWNS the license, they may not allow (or even may encourage) work-at-home copy of the software.
He said “free copy”, so I’m assuming he meant the one that came with his technet subscription.
Since I replied in email, I wasn't sure it this went through to you.
I really enjoyed your presentation at Devcon and Congrats on your FileMaker Excellence Award for Community of the Year!!! I can also say you have helped me in the past too – Thank You!!!
I was trying to copy the actual folder, I will try to just copy the .exe file tonight. On the Devcon software download page it also states, “In addition, FileMaker allows the primary user of the computer to make a second copy to use for his or her exclusive use on either a home or portable computer (“Home/Portable Use”). ”
This was the original copy from the Developer's Conference and posted on the Devcon 2014 Space and it also reads this way in the licence as stated above.
Thanks, the recording of my session was released yesterday so I can be more embarrased about my on-stage permissions error that I had!
Definitely try the .exe installer, windows likes to throw files all over the OS when an installer runs so I'm not surprised to hear of your DLL error.
I read that it was free, like the buy one give one thing. But good thought. I wasn't think of the Server License.
