I work with a multiple file solution. When I create labels layouts in different files, the default top and bottom margin sizes are often different. Sometimes I get .17, sometimes .33, sometimes .50. Usually I get .19 inches for left and righ, but one of my file says the fixed margins should be .50 for all four sides! The only thing that I can seem to depend on is that, as I set up new layouts, I always get the same set of numbers in the same file. Why does one file thing that Avery 5160 labels have .17/.19 margins while another file things they are .50/.50? Furthermore, what is the correct value?
Part of what changes the default margins is the last-used page/print setup setting for the file. If you change the printer settings to another printer, the default margins usually change to reflect the latest printer selection.
