So I removed the older versions of Go from my iPad. That helped. Now the downloaded webclip from GoWrap opens the correct database under Go13, but the next problem is that no icon is left on my iPads desktop for future use. Am I missing something in making this work?
Never heard of or used gowrap. You can use the "iPhone Configuration Utility" (free program from apple) to make your own webclips. It's a lot more reliable with webclip generation and fairly easy to use. It also has the potential to do a lot more than just FM stuff.
Thanks for your reply. I figured out how to make GoWrap work and now have the icon on my iPad desktop to launch the database under Go13. I'll keep testing. I also have the config utility and started working with it, but then ran into a reference for GoWrap which seemed easier. Let's see if it stays that way.
So, Dave ... has it stayed that way?
Yes it has. I've got two icons on my iPad desktop going to two different solutions. They work every time, even when I update the solutions, as long as the lead flename remains the same.
Plus, I can send the icon for others to place on their iPad desktops to access my solutions after I get around to delivering them.
I'm happy with the product so far.
