Create a edit box object for Table::field1 on a layout and make it a button to perform a script.

Set the Is Hidden condition in inspector to anything that evaluates Self.

The button is never hidden regardless of the contents of Table::field1.

Set the is hidden condition in inspector to evaluate the contents of Table::field1.

The button is hidden as you would expect.

Another anomally.

Create a edit box object for Table::field1 on a layout and set make it a button to perform a script.

Set the Is Hidden condition in inspector.

The IS Hidden when conditional is shown in inspector.

Create a edit box object for Table::field1 on a layout and set the is hidden condition first then make it a button to perform a script.

The is hidden when conditional is NOT shown in inspector. when the button object is selected.

This suggests that FM creates a hidden button object when a field control is turned into a button.

Am I on the right track here or is this a bug?

TIA,

Kris
