1) Remove the Set Error Capture script step
2) Run the Script
3) Let us know if there is an error that's causing the email not to send
Also, double check your email client settings.
Be aware that you use one relationship for the GTRR (student_GRADE), but then use a layout based on another TO (Grade) as the target. While this is totally OK and has many interesting uses, it may be the reason why your reference fails (because you're in a non-related context).
How are your tables (table occurrences) related?
Try this calculation for the student email address:
Let ( [
unique = <put UniqueName field here>
; common = "@umich.edu"
; $email = unique & common
For what it's worth, I would suggest setting the email address as a variable (the above will generate this because I have used a $ for the value the result calculation) as the script only makes one call opn the data, which you then use in your Send Mail step.
The Student Table and the Grade Table are related by the Student ID #. Each of my table occurrences have an ID that automatically generated. Which i use to relate my tables.
I got it. It was where i was pulling the email from, i needed to pull it through related table. Thank you for pointing that out!
