We'd need to see the script to determine what's up. I've been creating PDFs from Yosemite without issues.
It's not related to the script. Save as PDF Doesn't work. I've tried it with the "save pdf" button that appears on the preview mode.
Your response does tell me it's something to do with my specific installation though, so that's a hint I'll follow.
something to add ... This inability to save as PDF (I'm just trying to go to desktop) is apparent in both FM Pro And FM Pro Advanced. David's observation that it works for him made me check.
Anyone else having the problem?
OSX 10.10.1; FMPA 13.04; FMS 13.05 - Save As PDF icon on Preview toolbar performs well, saving to desktop. *Also using custom menu, altho' no fiddling with that particular command.
It could also be an issue with the Adobe installation. Couldn't hurt to re-install that. Fire up Disk Utility and do a permission repair.
Have you tried to print and select the Save As PDF from the print dialog?
\me facepalms and kicks own butt
Something in the environment for sure. I restarted and it is now functional. I should have watched an episode of "the IT crowd".
FYI I also turned off a program call "Cloudstation" which might be affecting the environment.
I am still having this same problem in the same environment (fm 13 yosemite). Save as PDF works for a while and then it doesn't. If I close FM and reopen, it works again for a while.
Any thoughts would be great - it's driving me crazy!
Please look to what you are saving as PDF.
Sometimes if you forget to tell "only current record" you will generate one too big pdf file, rejected by your system ?
Anyway, good luck and keep it kool !

I hat a similar issue, reinstalling FM 13 solved my problem.
