all the links don't works for the moment, I think it's because the site is new, little bug
yup! none of the "social links" (in upper right) work at the moment!
I guess one question is how you would share something that’s walled off behind authentication - or what would be shared.
I could see a Twitter link to a discussion being useful...Pinterest would be a harder case to make.

I would think its a user preference, as there may be different user names for each social link. Hmm worthy of a Jive help search!

It's 'context specific'. That means the link will be to the page you are on, including Your Inbox!
I think the question came up about this 'sharing' ability from the new forum. Wouldn't it still require login back here if someone followed your link on one of the social sites?
Colin - Glad you brought that up. Without going into a discussion of the modern social media tension between Community (sharing locally) and Marketing/PR (sharing globally)...my feedback would be:
If every incoming link drops a non-logged-in user at the Login page, which is http://community.filemaker.com, it would be great if that Login page were nicer looking, including some artwork + info + features/benefits of the FileMaker Community.
Otherwise you get this:

As a FileMaker evangelist, I want some images on that page, so that when I post any FileMaker Community URL to Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn/etc. at the least a "preview" image will show up, and will look nice.
