1. You cannot create a value list from a global. You'd have to read in both values and set two fields in a utility table, then base the value list on these fields.
2. The earlier thread mentions another approach that doesn't require an additional TO:
Create a calc field, type text, say cAccountNameActive, as
Case ( active ; accountName )
assuming that “active” is a number field that either holds a 1 or is empty.
Now define your value list as 1: ID, 2: cAccountNameActive.
