I'm receiving the posts from the discussions but the content is missing. Where is it?
I just logged in as a user with no special privileges, and here is what I am seeing for preferences. It's near the bottom:
Hi Malcolm, Is this every post from Discussions, or only some?
Every message is the same, all the chrome and none of the content.
However, messages arrive in good shape. I've just received a message and it contains the content.
Thanks for the additional information. If possible, can you get the raw email source for one of these emails and attach it to this thread? I'm not sure which mail program you use, but in Mac Mail you can get to it by going to View > Message > Raw Source.
I'm using Thunderbird 31.4.0 on Mac OS X 10.9.5.
I've attached the source for you.
Hey Malcolm, can you check your preferences to make sure "Include body of content in email" is marked as yes?
I can allow remote content. That can be switched on/off as a preference. I can't see a setting for "body of content."
I'm guessing from your response that you aren't getting a lot of complaints from others.
Aha! You meant the Jive preferences, not my email client.
My preferences were set to "No" for "include body of content." That setting is similar to setting your email client to get headings only isn't it.
I expect that will fix the issue.
just received a message from the community, it looks good.
