I have one FileMaker file now with 2000 plus clients. This file has two tables that share some fields. Now I would like to either create another table with some shared fields and some new fields OR create a new file and import that into my old file, thus linking some old fields plus adding some new fields. I can't seem to do this. I am new to FM and I work at a non profit food bank.
Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ideally, I would like to find someone who I could meet with in person to show me this. I use a MAC , OS 10.10.1
