How are you acceding the file, local or on a server?
its possible that there is corruption in the file. Try taking a copy of the file and running it through the recover process and look at the log file.
You you could try opening a local copy and have Filemaker save a compacted copy.
- does this issue appear if you build a new database from scratch (just for testing reasons)? *)
- are you using any PlugIn's?
- could you spot any changes, - updates, that went ahead of this issue?
*) if new database works, there might be kind of data corruption with your current solution.
if new database shows same issue, I'ld recommend to put answers to BruceHerbach and my questions forward to FMI as a bug report.
Ok, so based on what you wrote, I did a little investigating. I am accessing the file on a server but when I take one of my daily backups and load it, it works fine. I am able to access the relationships graph from local copy but not on the server.
What is my next step?
Thank you both. I really appreciate the help!
Are there any external file references? Check to see if there are any incorrect/invalid/obsolete files paths.
Hi, thanks for the suggestion. My first instinct is to say no, because up until a few weeks ago it worked fine and I can't think of anything that would have changed as far as file paths, but I will investigate further.
