Hi, records is "Apparently" a database for personal use.

Records uses a number of OS X features and technologies such as Cocoa, core Data Quartz, Grand Central Dispatch, 64-bit, Full-Screen, CALENDAR, CONTACTS and much more....

fields type : CALENDAR ? ..or type CONTACT ?

      regards

          Is there a question?

(had to look up the database, very similar to what Bento was).  I doubt it is as powerful or scalable as FM.

And remember that FM is cross-platform.  I doubt FMI wants to spend the resources to integrate calendar and contacts natively on both platforms.  That kind of integration is widely available and has been done a million times.
