NOt sure if it's the very same issue.. but:
THis issue occurs when the name of the machine (Your server's name) is different to the name given in the FileMaker admin'. Both names need to be identical. This issue is recognized by FMI - but not yet solved AFAIK
YOu can change one if the names to solve it
Not sure if this is the same issue or not but on Yosemite there's an issue with the 13.0v5 update. See this KB article for details:
While I had not seen the note about server name, in my case, the names match.
Check to see if the IP address of the computer changed? If you are getting the IP address through DHCP and the renewal or shutdown restart ended up assigning a new address it may have messed this up.
I had a similar issue with a temporary FMS I set up for travel. Turned it off for a week, turned it back on and the local DHCP gave it a new address. In my case, I couldn't start the console at all and had to re-install FMS.
In my case, for this setup I had no control over the DHCP server so could not reserve an address for the FMS computer.
