    ODBC Import Server Side

      Hi,

I'm importing around 500,000 records from an SQL source via ODBC into a filemaker table (only one field)

I know that I can set a scheduled script to do the import, but with FMP13 I can also run the script as PSoS - is there any tangible peformance benefit to one of these over the other?

Finally, when constructing the SQL Query int eh Import from ODBC script step (using the SQL Query Constructor Tool) I'd like to only import the first X rows, like you can with any SQL query, but I get an error when trying to get the script step to do this:

I've tried all combinations I can think of enclosing the FETCH statement, or it;s components, in quote marks, but I just can't seem to get it to accept it - anyone know why?

      Cheers,

      James.
