Cannot see hosted file on iPad

I have a problem sometimes to connect iPad to my laptop.

Most of the times, everything goes well.


Sometimes, after waiting a while not using the iPad, it disconnects.

When I try reconnecting, iPad can see my laptop, but cannot see the hosted file on my laptop.

When I restart my computer, connection goes well again.

To note that nothing goes wrong with the network connection itself meanwhile.


Is there any way to reconnect without restarting the software (because there might be other users connected => cannot shut down the application)


I am using Filemaker 13 Pro Advanced, Windows 7, and iPad
