WebDirect, FM13:

Using WebDirect, typing <Enter> does not commit a Find request.

The script includes:

Enter Find Mode []

Go to Field [test_name]

Pause/Resume Script [Indefinitely]

Perform Find []

(user enters the search string in field test-name, followed by  <Enter> )

In WebDirect  <Enter> inserts a <New Line> in the Find request field.

I have to add a FIND button scripted with Perform Find []

Any suggestions or better workarounds?

Typing <Enter> resumes the script and commits Find request in Filemaker 13 (all previous versions) without an explicit commit or Continue required.

Typing <Enter> also commits a Find request in my CDML -based web access application to the database running under FM6 Unlimited on an old XP box, which I, reluctantly,  have to plan for retirement after 11 years.  Works fine, and fast, for <50 simultaneous users of the Pathology Specimen Collection guide over a wide, bandwidth limited intranet for all of the Northern Territory of Australia. But not with Windows 7.
