I haven't seen these errors. But a couple of questions come to mind.
Are you trying to download something (that is a container) when you get the second error? or is it during just navigating around?
If it is the later, I wonder if there isn't an issue with your Theme. Are they saved? If you change themes does it make the issue go away?
what's your timeout set to for webdirect? Is it possible that something else on your network is listening for port 80 and causing a collision? What happens when you test locally on the server itself? How do you know it's a crash vs. a communication problem? Can you say for certain that a specific action is causing it to crash? I've never seen WD crash from just sitting idle, or at random, It's always been action specific or (more often) connection specific.
I've never seen the second error before, have you tried restarting your server, and have you made sure that the FMSADMIN account has the proper permissions to the webdirect folder? Have you installed the latest update?
Does your server meet the minimum tech specs for running WebDirect?
Also, is there Anti-virus running on the server machine? Is the server behind a VPN that is having it's connection state altered? It seems to be something related to what's happening with port 80. Something scanning it, sending out or receiving data on port 80.
Ironically, I ran into problem 2 today for the first time!
I was trying out my WD solution on a new PC. Instead of a Button bar, there was a message similar to the one presented in number two above.
After a little digging, I found that Protected mode was enabled. When I turned it off, and restarted my browser, I had my Button bar back.
Could this be your issue too?
