Firth5, I had buttons across the top of my database in the header area---they worked fine there. I believe I just put them there after I made them as a "field". That way I could go to different layouts, different finds and back again.

The issue with using the footer in form view is it defines the bottom of the body so if the body is large the footer may be off the screen
Sorry, I don't think I was clear enough.
I would like the buttons to always be VISIBLE. So if (in form view), the user scrolls way down, the header is always visible at the top of the screen.
This is exactly how it works in List view, and I am wondering if there's a setting for Form view that make it work the same way.
