Accidentally changed a Table name, Whole database frozen

      Post

I started a new solution (not yet live) and I was nearly finished. When I was creating a new table, I accidentally hit change instead of create and then Filemaker froze. When I attempted to reopen the file, it freezes again (with the hourglass). Because of this, there is no way I can get back in and manage the database tables. Is there any way to do this through a command line application?

No, there is not a script command that will do this. This shouldn't cause the database to freeze. When you change a table name the database changes all references to this table in every layout and script which may be why the hour glass appeared and could take some time to run in a large database.  If you stopped this process, I would bet that your file is corrupt.   Best solution is to use a backup copy of your database.  You can run recover on the file to detect any file corruption.
