Title

Adding a "Menu Section" for buttons, but not for printing

Post

I wanted to add a 1-2" header section for "custom menu buttons" on all my layouts.  I did not want to have this section print, however. Layout is already perfect for a record to be printed on an 8.5 x 11 " piece of paper.

Is there a way (besides recreating a copy of each layout for printing only, or setting all elements on a layout to slide up) to just have an entire section that does not print and is only used for buttons or UI stuff?  I am aware of how to set an individual  button or field to not print, but really want to do an entire section on top.

I'd also prefer not to get into a bunch of custom menus right now, and just keep this simple.

Any ideas would be great!

Using Filemaker 10.03 Advanced, on Windows XP Pro SP3.

Thanks.
